COVID-19 Vaccine Now Available for Children Ages 5 through 11 in Prince George's County

The Prince George’s County Health Department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Wayne K. Curry Sports and Learning Complex will stay open until 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays to give families of children ages five and older more opportunities to get protected from the virus. In addition, the Health Department’s mobile vaccine clinic schedule at County high schools is expanding to include elementary schools starting Monday, November 8. Effective immediately,

Prince George's County has expanded its indoor mask mandate to include children ages 2 to 5 years.

To make sure we can protect our youngest residents who are not yet able to get vaccinated, Prince George’s County has expanded the indoor mask mandate to include children ages 2-5 years old. We understand requiring children ages 2-5 to wear a mask for extended periods of time may be difficult. In these circumstances, wearing a mask can be prioritized for times where social distancing of six feet or more is difficult. #PGCCOVID19
